The WFS subscription cycle now runs from 01 November to 31 October the following year. Subscribe now/ re-subscribe for membership up to 31 October 2026. Please use Paypal to renew your membership or to join us as a new or returning member.

Please note:

• We ask that you allow up to two weeks for membership requests to be processed; and
• We will use the PayPal payment details for membership purposes. Where payment is made for someone other than the card holder (as indicated by the question above), we will contact you subsequently to confirm membership details.

The WFS committee took the decision in October 2024 to amend the annual subscription cycle to run from 01 November to the 31 October the following year. Please continue your membership or join as a new or returning member for membership to 31 October 2026.

As with previous years, we offer three levels of paid subscription:

• £17.50: UK Deluxe (printed & emailed pdf Waxbill magazine).
• £15.00: UK (printed magazine option)
• £10.00: UK or overseas (emailed pdf magazine)
• Free:     Juniors under 18

This provides the option for UK members to subscribe at different rates dependent on whether they choose to receive The Waxbill magazine by email as a pdf file (£10.00), by post as a printed booklet (£15.00), or by post and email (£17.50). Overseas (non-UK) members will receive the magazine by email and pay the lower rate.

The Waxbill

Our magazine, The Waxbill, is issued quarterly to all members and contains articles and advice on all matters relating to the keeping and breeding of birds. As explained above, The Waxbill will be available in printed format by post, by email (in pdf), or both - dependent on the choice of subscription.

Paying by cheque

For members wishing to pay by cheque or postal order, you can download  a standard pdf  file here which you can print off and complete by hand. It also contains the details of where to send the completed copy and cheque.
